What is a Youth Voice Group?
Made up of 10 young people aged 14-25, the Youth Voice Group will be helping to shape arts and culture for young people in Calderdale. You’ll take part in a range of creative activities and meet local organisations through sharing your ideas and opinions about what’s good or bad, and how it can be improved.
What is the commitment?
You’ll attend one meeting per month, from 12-4pm on the second Saturday of each month, as part of a group of 10 young people. The meetings will be held at EdShift @ The YouthBase, 7 Harrison Road, Halifax HX1 2AF.
What will you get from it?
A £20 bursary for each meeting you come to, to help with covering your time and travel costs.
The chance to have your voice heard and make a difference to your local area.
Time to take part in creative activities and develop skills for future employment.
