The Arches, Dean Clough

Hi there,

I would like to invite you to celebrate the unveiling of Calderdale College's plans to open a brand-new digital creative skills hub, Mill Studios, at Dean Clough on Thursday 07 March from 5pm.

The College, in collaboration with Luminate Education Group and Kirklees College, is committed to meeting the skills needs of West Yorkshire, and together we will drive recruitment into Creative Industries from September 2024 through new state-of-the-art facilities across the region.

At the event, you will have the opportunity to discover more about our new Esports, Games Design and TV & Film courses that will be housed at Mill Studios, meet industry experts from each of the colleges and hear how the project will deliver a pipeline of local talent to the sector. Drinks and canapes will be provided on arrival.

The project is funded by the Local Skills Improvement Fund, and over £6.5 million has been secured for the colleges across West Yorkshire as part of the region's Local Skills Improvement Plan for Creative Industries.
